This is the first in our series of Lunchtime Law Talks. Our speaker will discuss all the services provided by the Legal Aid Board.
The Legal Aid Board provides legal services in relation to civil law. It also provides family mediation services. In considering what is necessary to obtain legal advice and aid including the Board’s financial eligibility requirements and that a case has merit.
Our speaker John McDaid, Chief Executive, Legal Aid Board will examine the Civil Legal Aid Act 1995, the Civil Legal Aid Regulations and the overall work of the Board.
