We offer information and advice on landlord and tenant disputes, local authority and housing related anti-social behaviour issues. We may offer legal representation in housing cases.
Threshold also provide advice on housing matters, including applications and transfers, points for local authority housing lists, social and affordable housing, rent supplement, repairs/condition of premises, deposit retention, evictions and assistance to homeless persons. They also provide advice and advocacy service in relation to disputes with landlords, including local authorities.

In respect of appeals, the Social Welfare Appeals Office can determine a case by way of written documentation or by holding an oral hearing. In some cases, we can represent individuals at the oral hearing.

We provide a family law advice and information only clinic for people in Ballymun who have not yet engaged the services of a solicitor. This involves a free 30 minute "one-to-one" appointment with a solicitor. The information and advice service is being offered on the basis that the solicitor will not be meeting the person again for the same family law matter and will not be representing them in courts, taking actions for them or writing letters on their behalf. Family law issues we will provide information and advice on include:
